A note from me

Border-raised. Austin-rooted.

I was born and raised in El Paso — a border city that taught me what community and cultural pride actually look like. The Austin Metro is home now, and Central Texas is the territory I work: Travis, Williamson, and Hays Counties down through Round Rock and as far as San Antonio.

Before real estate, I spent 17 years in consumer finance. That work taught me how to read a deal, how to spot what a number is really telling you, and how to advocate for someone who doesn't have my training. I brought all of it with me when I moved into real estate.

I work with first-time buyers, growing families, and luxury buyers. The common thread isn't a price point — it's that they want someone who owns the process start to finish, shows up prepared, and treats the home like the decision it actually is. First-time buyers especially. I've been one. I know the questions no one thinks to ask and the second-guesses that creep in at 11pm.

Do you charge any upfront fees?

No. I work on standard Texas commission paid at closing — nothing out of pocket from you up front. The selectivity comes from my side: I take a small list of clients at a time so I can give every deal the attention it needs. If you're a fit, we sign an exclusive representation agreement; if not, I'll point you to someone good. No retainers, no hidden charges.

What areas do you cover?

Austin and the surrounding Central Texas counties — Travis, Williamson, and Hays — down the I-35 corridor through Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Buda, Kyle, and as far as San Antonio. I'm Austin-Metro based, but the territory I work covers most of Central Texas.

I'm a first-time buyer. Will you take me seriously?

First-time buyers are some of my favorite clients to work with. I've been one. I know the questions no one thinks to ask, the second-guesses that creep in at 11pm, and how confusing the financing side can feel. My 17 years in consumer finance helps a lot here — I can walk you through what the numbers actually mean, what's negotiable, and what to watch for. There's no minimum price point.

How is this different from Zillow or finding an agent online?

Zillow shows you what's already public. I focus on what isn't yet — direct-to-seller outreach, agent network calls, and off-market deals that haven't hit the MLS. Every property I show you has been walked, comped, and vetted before you see it. You're not getting auto-generated Zillow alerts; you're getting a short list of homes I think actually fit what you told me you want.

What if I'm just exploring and not ready to buy or sell yet?

That's fine. The discovery call is free and there's no pressure to commit. Some people come to me 6–12 months before they're ready, and that's actually the best time to start the conversation — I can tell you what to watch for in the market, what neighborhoods are about to turn, and what your range will realistically buy you when you're ready. The renter intake on the form is specifically for people in that "not yet, but soon" stage.
